Galle and Unawatuna Beach in Sri Lanka

Galle situated on the southern coast of Sri Lanka is 116 kilometers from Colombo and can be reached by both road and rail. Galle recognized as a UNESCO world heritage site is famed for its Historical Dutch Fort that was first built by the Portuguese in 1588 and later fortified by the Dutch in the 17th century. Unawatunna, situated just a hop away from Galle, is recognized as one of the best beaches of the twelve best beaches in the world.
